Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop educational activities that meet the needs of our nursing organization
  • Lead in the design and development of systems that support staff involvement in practice, research, education, and quality decisions
  • Participate in the design, development, and implementation of orientation and continuing education programs for individuals and groups within the nursing organization
  • Evaluate educational outcomes and link them to quality process and patient care outcomes
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Nursing, Education, or an allied health field from an accredited institution
  • Experience in Clinical Social Work or Nursing with experience in Case Management, Utilization Review, and Discharge Planning
  • BLS Certification
  • Demonstrated clinical competency in a nursing or allied health specialty
  • Ability to create collegial and collaborative relationships internally and externally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Pediatric nursing experience
