About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Support Lead to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide project support and updates to employees, leadership, and customers
  • Develop, maintain, and provide extensive job progress reporting through continued monitoring of job status
  • Update local leadership with new projects, schedule issues, and client concerns
  • Manage client needs and concerns through on/offsite meetings
  • Assist with sales forecasting
  • Communicate and train internal departments on customer procedures and expected deliverables
Requirements
  • Working knowledge of GIS design applications, preferably IQGEO
  • OSP Fiber engineering experience (FTTH)
  • Knowledge of local permitting & jurisdiction Requirements
  • Track record of completing work with a high level of quality
  • Ability to figure out hard problems and enjoy a hands-on approach to work
  • Extensive experience tracking and monitoring construction projects
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel, and the ability to learn custom software
  • Excellent verbal, written, phone, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment
  • Excellent multitasking skills and ability to quickly transition between projects
