About the Job

Fusion Medical Staffing-Cath Lab is seeking a skilled Cath Lab Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital in Dallas, Texas.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and technical support in the catheterization laboratory. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced Cath Lab Technologist to work with a dynamic team and gain valuable experience in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Provide and coordinate patient care with other healthcare team members, including administering medications as ordered and monitoring patients' responses to interventions.
  • Share on-call responsibilities with a 30-minute response time, if required.
  • Maintain cleanliness of rooms and adequate stock of supplies.
  • Transport patients as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • One to three years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
  • Critical thinking, service excellence, and good interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend written instructions, as well as follow verbal instructions.
  • PC skills.
  • Physical abilities to remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment, pushing, pulling, bending.
