We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Unit Manager to join our team at Regency at Westland. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership and guidance to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Guidance: Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and others.
- Nursing Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans for guests, in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
- Quality Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance the quality of care and services provided.
- Guest Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments of guests' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Staff Development: Provide ongoing education and training to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Education: Current state nursing licensure required.
- Experience: Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
- Certifications: Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
