The Talent Development Function

The Learning and Development Manager plays a critical role in supporting the talent development function within our organization. This includes developing and facilitating learning programs, overseeing program evaluation measures, and providing administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver learning programs that meet the diverse needs of our staff
  • Collect and compile data to evaluate program effectiveness
  • Support the development and implementation of a medical assistant scholarship program
  • Liaise with the community to identify needs and develop relevant courses
  • Manage the logistics of in-person development programs
    • Provide administrative support for the talent development function, including preparing and distributing program materials, managing logistics, and coordinating with Facilities and IT
    • Manage the distribution and processing of online assessments
    • Collect and compile course evaluations and participant feedback
    • Assist with purchasing process and tracking payments in process

Requirements

Baccalaureate degree in a related field required, Master's degree preferred. Experience developing and delivering learning development initiatives and proficiency with PowerPoint, Word, and Excel is required.

The ideal candidate will be organized and detail oriented, possess excellent writing and editing skills, have experience with project/program management, have a customer service orientation, and be a resourceful relationship builder.
