Job Summary:
Wellstar Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging Services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and producing accurate diagnostic images. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with a talented team of healthcare professionals to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Obtain complete clinical history and gather examination data to assess for contraindicating conditions.
• Follow established procedures for the administration of contrast media to ensure patient safety and comfort.
• Ensure that all studies have proper patient identification and right and left markers are utilized appropriately.
• Review radiographic images for clinically acceptable results and release patients.
• Respond to emergency situations and provide for the restocking of the crash cart and maintenance of life support equipment if applicable.
• Assist other technologists in all modalities when needed if applicable.
• Observe patient condition and properly evaluate situations when physician intervention is necessary to prevent patient deterioration.

Requirements:
• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
• Current certification in Radiography (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) or BLS Instructor certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient department operations.
