Role Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant provides essential care to residents and patients, adhering to all relevant laws, regulations, and standards in our skilled nursing facility. CNAs assist residents with daily living activities, personal hygiene, and mobility, ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend to the personal needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
  • Support residents with daily living activities, including dressing, personal hygiene, and mobility assistance.
  • Help with daily tasks such as phone use, laundry, transportation, and mail delivery.
  • Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation duties.
  • Provide medication reminders.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' conditions.
  • Conduct rounds to identify hazards or incidents.
  • Assist with dining services, including escorting residents, serving meals, and cleaning up.
  • Offer companionship and engage in conversation.
  • Perform other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Completion of a state-approved CNA certification course is necessary.
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively for job responsibilities.
  • Demonstrate respect and dignity in caring for seniors and their belongings.
  • Communicate with clients in a friendly and approachable manner.
  • New hires must complete our orientation program.
