This position operates on a standard weekday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Craft menus that align with consumer preferences, nutritional requirements, and budgetary guidelines; engage in menu planning activities including the establishment of purchasing specifications, product testing, and recipe development.
  • Ensure adherence to production, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Lead and actively participate in the daily preparation of both standard and gourmet culinary offerings.
  • Assess the quality of raw ingredients and guarantee the excellence of the final dishes.
  • Conduct inspections of designated areas to evaluate food preparation quality, presentation, and the cleanliness of production and service spaces, including equipment and staff appearance.
  • Coordinate culinary production for special events, unique menu items, and catered occasions.
  • Oversee and assist in the preparation and presentation of menu items for special events.
  • Maintain effective inventory management for food, supplies, and equipment. Participate in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of supervisory and support personnel.
  • Manage financial performance by controlling revenue and expenses to meet fiscal objectives.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
  • Perform additional duties as required.
Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven culinary skills in institutional, hotel, or restaurant settings, particularly in large-scale food production.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in culinary management.
  • Strong leadership capabilities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A successful history of managing costs and overseeing annual budgets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in institutional management, nutrition, dietetics, or hotel and restaurant management, or equivalent education and experience.
