Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist to join our team at Norman Regional Health System. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, you will be responsible for preparing and operating imaging equipment during procedures, ensuring patient safety and maintaining a sterile environment. Your expertise will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our team's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation and operation of imaging equipment during cardiovascular procedures
  • Patient assessment and care
  • Maintenance of a sterile environment
  • Serving as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students
  • Participating in the orientation of new staff
  • Using downtime effectively by stocking rooms, checking equipment, and completing delegated tasks

Qualifications:

  • Certified Cardiovascular Radiologic Technologist (RCIS) certification preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) training required within 6 months of hire
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training required within 6 months of hire
  • Registered Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 1 year of experience working in a cath lab or similar setting
