Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Atrium Health Navicent. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of radiologic examinations, including X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Imaging Procedures: Position patients and select exposure factors for various radiologic examinations, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
  • Patient Care: Communicate with patients to explain procedures, obtain clinical history, and address any questions or concerns.
  • Diagnostic Imaging: Review diagnostic imaging requests for appropriateness and communicate with radiologists for final approval.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including patient and study information, and document billing codes for procedures performed.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications: ARRT Registered or Registry eligible through the ARRT.
  • Experience: No post-graduate experience required.
