Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

* Drive tractor-trailer vehicle to designated locations
* Operate mechanized loading/unloading equipment
* Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

* High School Diploma or Equivalent
* Six months of FedEx Express experience preferred
* Ability to drive manual transmission preferred
* Ability to operate mechanized loading/GSE
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
* Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 Lbs with appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person

Working Conditions

* FMCSA covered safety sensitive position
* Medical exam required
* Subject to regulatory alcohol & drug testing, which includes testing for marijuana, pcp, amphetamines, cocaine & opioids

Preferred Qualifications

* Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the salary information represents the job level minimum and the job level maximum. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

* Pay: $24.25 and an extra $4.00 per hour as a premium

Additional Details

* Shift: This is an AM/PM Swing Driver position. Work shift may require Monday - Friday 12:00PM - 8:00PM or 9:00PM - 8:00AM one week then Tuesday - Saturday 5:30AM - 2:00PM the next week
