Position Overview
The Vehicle Alignment Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the precise alignment of newly installed tires and wheels on customer vehicles. While this position does not involve the replacement of alignment components, it requires the adjustment of such parts as part of the alignment process. Any observed defects or unusual wear must be promptly reported to a supervisor for customer notification. This role also encompasses all responsibilities associated with Tire Technician duties, including the dismounting, mounting, handling of scrap tires, and balancing of all tires sold.
Key Responsibilities
As a Vehicle Alignment Specialist, your primary functions will include:
- Safely maneuvering customer vehicles onto the alignment apparatus and securing them effectively before commencing any alignment tasks.
- Executing vehicle alignments in accordance with company standards.
- Carefully dismounting and remounting tires and wheels on vehicles.
- Handling tires and wheels without causing damage during the dismounting and remounting processes.
- Utilizing all relevant equipment and tools as per training.
- Working independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Delivering exceptional customer service and satisfaction.
- Adhering to safety protocols and performing duties as outlined below.
- Engaging in customer relations and fulfilling company objectives.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assisting with accurate inventory control.
- Completing necessary paperwork related to job functions.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace on a daily basis.
Safety Protocols
- Following all safety guidelines as detailed in the Employee Safety Manual.
- Learning and applying proper lifting techniques.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization as part of daily operations.
- Reporting any accidents or incidents to a supervisor immediately.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift a minimum of forty-five (45) pounds.
- Capability to perform repetitive movements typical within the tire industry.
Other Duties
- Willingness to take on additional tasks as they arise.
