CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team at AdventHealth Shawnee Mission. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform CAT Scan procedures with minimal supervision, requiring independent judgment and technical expertise.
- Administer opaque contrast material as directed by Radiologists and start IVs on outpatients as needed.
- Communicate effectively with nurses and physicians to expedite patient care and locate orders, lab work, and allergies in Power Chart.
- Operate Cerner System proficiently, troubleshoot problems, and make corrections within scope of user level.
- Participate in the training of new CT techs and adhere to radiation safety standards.
- Associate's degree or graduate of a technical school.
- Kansas State License LRT.
- Nationally Registered ARRT.
- ARRT Registered CT Technologist.
