LPN-ACUTE Nurse Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled LPN-ACUTE Nurse to join our team at Levindale Hospital in Baltimore, MD.

About the Role:

The LPN-ACUTE Nurse will work in our High Intensity Care Unit (HICU), providing care to patients who require attention for acute brain injuries, respiratory assistance, or special monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to assess patient status, implement clinical nursing interventions, and develop patient care plans to enhance outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assess patient status and implement clinical nursing interventions to modify symptoms
  • Develop and implement patient care plans to enhance and improve outcomes

Requirements:

  • Formal working knowledge equivalent to an Associate's degree in nursing
  • License for Practical Nursing and AHA BLS CPR Certification
  • Basic computer skills and experience with IV pumps, monitoring systems, and other medical equipment
