Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team at the Wine Bar and Bistro in our Skaneateles location.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure a warm and welcoming atmosphere for guests by setting tables, greeting guests, and presenting menus.
  • Take and schedule reservations, and provide excellent customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Supervise service to assist servers when needed, and complete the guest satisfaction cycle by thanking guests and inviting them to return.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the Restaurant Manager, including decorating the dining room for special events.

Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements

This position requires a pleasant personality, neat appearance, and excellent people, verbal, and writing skills. Prior experience in the industry is preferred.
