Job Summary:

We are seeking a Water Aerobics Instructor to join our team at Loyola University Health System. As a Water Aerobics Instructor, you will be responsible for leading group exercise classes in a safe and engaging environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and lead group exercise classes for members of all fitness levels, incorporating safe exercise guidelines and best practices.
  • Build relationships with members, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals.
  • Stay up-to-date on wellness trends and provide effective information and support to members.
  • Maintain accurate class attendance records and plan new classes each quarter.
  • Follow center policies and procedures, responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed and improve skills.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science preferred.
  • 1 year of experience teaching group wellness classes required.
  • Water Aerobics Certification or equivalent required.
