Position Summary:
- Execute welding assignments punctually while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts with a three-day weekend
- 2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30 PM - 3 AM (includes a 10% pay differential)
- Initial Training on 1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 6 AM - 4:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and layout tasks using technical drawings and specifications.
- Operate machinery to cut, shape, inspect, and weld materials.
- Perform welding across various positions including flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead.
- Maintain and inspect welding equipment regularly.
- Exhibit excellent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Ability to interpret blueprints and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Capable of standing for extended periods and lifting weights between 25-45 lbs.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation.
- U.S. person status is required.
- Experience in TIG welding is preferred but not mandatory.
