We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clinical Research Recruitment Coordinator to join our team at the University of California, Irvine. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the recruitment of potential research participants for clinical trials at our Stem Cell Research Center-Alpha Clinic (UCI-AC).
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate clinical trial advertisement, outreach, and marketing efforts
- Screen potential participants for eligibility and study details
- Develop and establish processes to review, manage, and oversee pending potential research participants
- Coordinate community outreach events
- Manage social media accounts and create recruitment materials
- Collaborate with study teams, internal and external healthcare providers, and industry sponsors
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations and GCP guidelines
- Develop and lead educational sessions with diverse clinical groups
- Provide exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Maintain accurate records and reports
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- 3-5 years of work experience in a related field
- BA/BS in biological or health sciences or equivalent experience
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
- Knowledge of human subjects' research and clinical trials
- Experience working with IRBs, CROs, and Pharmaceutical Sponsors
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Ability to use proper English grammar and spelling
- Ability to independently compose correspondence and design spreadsheets/databases
- Multi-lingual (Spanish, Korean, or Vietnamese) a plus
