**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a Senior Portal Applications Developer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing portal applications using IBM Websphere Portal software.

**Key Responsibilities:**
* Develop front-end portal applications using Websphere Portal tools
* Implement JSR 168/286 Portlets Development
* Design portals compliant with Section 508 accessibility requirements
* Provide technical assistance in resolving production system problems
* Investigate technologies and recommend solutions to meet business needs

**Requirements:**
* At least 10 years of general IT related experience
* 2 years of experience in Websphere Portal application development
* Ability to use Websphere Portal tools to develop portlets
* Experience with Section 508 accessibility requirements
* Experience with J2EE, JSP, and Java Scripts
* Strong Unix/Linux experience in an enterprise environment
* Prior experience with Websphere, Java, UML, and other technologies

**Nice to Have:**
* Experience with Apache and PHP
* Knowledge of web application performance
* Good team player with strong verbal and written communication skills
