We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at the University of Miami's Anesthesiology department. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality anesthesia care to patients undergoing medical and surgical procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer anesthetics according to established protocols and procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Conduct pre- and post-anesthesia patient visits and document anesthesia notes
- Review medical history, evaluate patients, and determine proper methods of anesthesia
- Perform or evaluate diagnostic tests, such as radiographs and electrocardiograms
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure safety
- Manage patients' airway or pulmonary status using various techniques
- Oversee patient recovery from anesthesia and provide immediate post-operative care
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Certification as a Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems
