Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join our Cardiovascular Operating Room team. As a Cardiac Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patients undergoing cardiovascular surgeries and procedures.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in the management of patients with complex cardiovascular conditions, including heart transplants and vascular surgeries.
- Utilize advanced clinical skills and knowledge to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a CVOR RNFA.
- Strong background in cardiac care, including heart transplants, vascular, and thoracic surgeries.
- Proficient in Pyxis, EPIC, and SBAR systems.
- Ability to work variable call schedules, including one weekday call per week and one weekend every 5-6 weeks.
- Full compliance with hospital policies and procedures required.
