Primary Duties:

  • Support the Fabrication team in the assembly of pipe spools by applying tack welds to secure components before the final welding process.
  • Review and acknowledge the Job Safety Analysis (JSA) prior to commencing tasks.
  • Successfully complete the mandatory tackers assessment (GTAW).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in operating welding machinery.
  • Prepare pipes and fittings for assembly in accordance with specified sketches.
  • Ensure a tidy and safe working environment at all times.

Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of pertinent experience in welding.
  • Completion of required pre-employment and post-employment welding qualification assessments.
  • Ability to adhere to established protocols and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Physical and Cognitive Requirements:

This role involves physical activities such as climbing, lifting, bending, and working under various environmental conditions. Cognitive skills necessary include the ability to follow instructions, communicate effectively, and manage time efficiently across multiple tasks.
