Position Summary:

The Lead Installer is responsible for the effective and satisfactory installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems. This role involves direct communication with customers to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure overall satisfaction. The Lead Installer also trains junior installers and assists in site supervision and planning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install HVAC systems and accessories under the guidance of the Field Supervisor or General Manager.
  • Conduct installations in compliance with company standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Design and fabricate ductwork as necessary.
  • Perform system start-ups and diagnostics as required.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high satisfaction levels.
  • Promote company products and services during customer interactions.
  • Manage equipment delivery and removal for installation tasks.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company tools and vehicles.
  • Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Uphold the company's professional image in all business dealings.
  • Assist in quality audits and training of new installers.

Health & Safety Responsibilities:

  • Report unsafe conditions and practices to management immediately.
  • Utilize personal protective equipment as required.
  • Participate in safety initiatives and training programs.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED with HVAC technical training and 5+ years of experience.
  • Valid licensing or certification as required by local regulations.
  • Proficient in HVAC system operations and installation.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in various environmental conditions and lift heavy equipment.
