Position Summary
The Flight Paramedic plays a critical role in responding to medical emergencies and delivering advanced care during patient transport. As the initial healthcare provider on the scene, you will collaborate with emergency responders to assess situations effectively.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Deliver high-quality pre-hospital advanced life support, including assessment, triage, and treatment in accordance with established medical guidelines.
- Ensure safety remains the top priority throughout the transport process.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- An Associate's Degree in Emergency Medical Services.
- A minimum of five years of full-time critical care experience at the Critical Care Paramedic level.
- Current licensure and certification as a Paramedic in North Carolina, with the ability to obtain South Carolina certification.
- National Registry Paramedic certification.
- Current certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, and Neonatal Resuscitation.
- Additional certifications such as ATLS, ATCN, or TPACT.
- A valid North Carolina driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, a Bachelor's degree and prior medical transport experience are advantageous.
