Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Equipment Repair Technician to join our Chromalox team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance.

About the Position:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical systems, including engines, motors, and conveyor systems. You will be expected to diagnose and repair machine malfunctions, perform routine maintenance tasks, and work collaboratively with the team to improve quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain equipment and machinery using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring and testing instruments.
  • Diagnose machine malfunctions and determine the need for adjustment or repair.
  • Test malfunctioning machinery, using test equipment, and discuss malfunctions with other maintenance workers.
  • Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on machines as scheduled and required for TPM.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of one to three years of related experience and/or training.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as blueprints, work orders, work instructions, diagrams, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills are necessary.

Salary Range:$60,000 - $75,000 per year based on experience.
