Histology Technician

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Histology Technician to join our team on a per diem / prn basis in Northampton, Massachusetts. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a talented team of professionals.

This per diem position is part of the 1199SEIU Bargaining Unit at Cooley Dickinson Hospital and reports to the Section Supervisor, Histology. As a Histology Technician, you will be responsible for performing various technical and related duties in the histology section of the laboratory.

• Performing specialized stain and immune/histochemical techniques, including preparation of various reagents and stains utilized.
• Working collaboratively with other laboratory staff to ensure efficient and accurate testing.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to established safety protocols and quality control standards.

We are seeking candidates with:

• An Associate's or Bachelor's degree and HT (ASCP) or equivalent registration required, or eligibility for registration.
• Demonstrated competency in all special stain and immune/histochemical techniques.
• One (1) to three (3) years of experience preferred.
