Our global supply chain encompasses manufacturing in the US and Asia, sourcing raw materials, components, and finished goods, and distributing instruments and accessories to customers globally.

This senior executive will oversee the global manufacturing, procurement, and distribution activities of Conn-Selmer, aligning with the company's goals, objectives, and policies established by the President and CEO.

Key qualifications include turnaround experience for domestic manufacturing, offshoring and greenfield manufacturing in Asia, and a deep understanding of material resource planning.

The ideal candidate will have outstanding organizational and leadership skills, with the ability to effectively streamline inbound sourcing and outbound distribution of finished goods to customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement best practices for production, quality, distribution, and supply chain initiatives.
  • Manage operations to achieve world-class status and efficiencies using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.
  • Prepare short- and long-range plans and budgets based on organizational goals and growth objectives.
  • Delegate responsibilities, ensuring clear definitions and accountability among direct subordinates.
  • Create incentive plans to drive quality and output in the front-line workforce.
  • Manage engineering to ensure high-quality product production.
  • Oversee MRP to ensure efficient production flow.
  • Manage inventory levels to reduce excess investment in WIP and improve turns of finished goods.
