Job Title: Road Mechanic

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled Road Mechanic to join our team. As a Road Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including aerial work platforms, general construction tools, and specialty lines equipment.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices to ensure optimal equipment performance.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; trade school or equivalent training preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance, repair, or operation.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record (CDL license may be required in some locations).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems, as well as troubleshooting fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
