Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Intermountain Health Park City Hospital. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the success of surgical procedures by maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and maintain the operating room and equipment for surgical procedures
  • Assist the surgical team during procedures, including setting up and positioning patients, and handling instruments and supplies
  • Monitor and maintain a sterile field during procedures
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest surgical techniques and technologies
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
  • Completion of an accredited Operating Room Technician program (ORT) or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
