Compounding Specialist

Job Description: The Sterile Product Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of compounded medications.
About the Position:
In this role, you will be responsible for compounding low to high-risk sterile products, filling patient orders, and working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels, reordering chemicals or compounds as needed, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Compounding low to high-risk sterile products.
- Filling patient orders, working under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Monitoring inventory levels and reordering chemicals or compounds as needed.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- Participating in environmental monitoring and validation testing, as required.
Requirements:
- Registered with the State Board of Pharmacy
- Strong aseptic technique and hand-eye coordination
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Ability to work quickly and accurately under time and volume constraints
Estimated Salary:$50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
