Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct thorough assessments of patients to identify their physical, emotional, and psychological needs, and develop individualized care plans to address these needs.
- High-Tech Interventions: Utilize advanced medical technology to provide high-quality patient care, including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing various medical procedures.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on various aspects of their care, including disease management, medication adherence, and self-care techniques.
- Coordination of Care: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care, including communication with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Oregon, and current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Experience and Education: A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse, or 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting with patient care responsibilities.
- Preferred Qualifications: Certification in Perioperative Nursing (CNOR) and completion of the Peri-op 101 course within 3 months of hire.
