Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Ambulatory Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, conducting assessments, and implementing treatment plans in accordance with established nursing standards.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing vital signs, and conducting physical assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in accordance with established guidelines.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Kansas.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with ACLS and PALS certifications preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in ambulatory care or a related field.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
