About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Robotics Automation Engineer to join our team at Ellison. As a key member of our automation department, you will be responsible for designing and deploying cutting-edge automation solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Lead: Provide technical guidance and leadership for the design and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Automation Cell Design: Conceptualize and design automation cells and solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • Robotics Support: Serve as a go-to resource for robotics support escalations, including helping with requests from field service engineers and technical resource centers.
  • Liaison with Manufacturers: Act as a technical liaison to Doosan Robotics and other manufacturers, serving as an extension of their engineering team.
  • Implementation and Installation: Participate in implementation and installation teams as needed.
  • Training and Support: Help train the support organization on robots and assist with transitioning technical support responsibilities.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in robotic integration.
  • A 4-year engineering, mechatronics, or electrical degree, or similar.
  • Extensive industry experience will be considered in lieu of a 4-year degree.
  • Experience working for a systems integrator focused on robotics is a must.
  • Working knowledge of major industrial robotics, with experience on Doosan Robotics advantageous.
  • Ability to conceptualize and design robotic-based automation solutions for various client processes and workflows.
  • Working knowledge of computer and robotic programming.
  • Ability to work in CAD and read/interpret electrical diagrams.
