Key Responsibilities- Provide safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process.
- Function in accordance with the professional standards of the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Complete and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
- Deliver effective relationship-based nursing care, demonstrating technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.
- Develop self and contribute to the professional practice of nursing, demonstrating clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations.
- Display leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes.
- Graduate of an accredited practical nurse program or currently enrolled in a nursing program.
- Knowledge of LPN scope of practice according to the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Ohio and/or Multi-State Compact License.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within the orientation period.
- IV certification (unit-dependent).
This role requires standing, walking, and lifting frequently, with occasional climbing, balancing, and crawling. The ability to push, pull, and carry 50 pounds is also required.
Travel RequirementsThis position requires occasional travel, with approximately 10% of time spent on the road.
