Job Summary:

The Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their newborns in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to laboring women and their newborns
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs
  • Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as cesarean sections and postpartum hemorrhages

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with an Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice
  • Active Compact/Multi-State RN license
  • American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Health Care Provider certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in ED, ICU, or Labor and Delivery
