Key Responsibilities
  • Fire Sprinkler System Installation: Assemble, install, and maintain fire sprinkler systems in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and local codes.
  • System Testing and Inspection: Conduct thorough testing and inspections of fire sprinkler systems to ensure functionality and compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing fire sprinkler systems, including troubleshooting and fixing issues as they arise.
  • Pipe Fitting and Installation: Measure, cut, thread, and install pipes and related components for sprinkler systems.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other team members, contractors, and clients to ensure successful project completion.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all safety regulations and building codes to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years experience as a sprinkler fitter or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of fire sprinkler system components, installation techniques, and safety protocols. Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy materials and working in various environmental conditions.
  • Certifications and Licenses: Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET) are a plus but not mandatory. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
