Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced School Psychologist to join our team at Soliant. As a key member of our educational services team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive psychological assessments, developing and implementing intervention strategies, and collaborating with teachers and administrators to support student success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic skills, social-emotional functioning, and developmental levels. Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for instructional planning, intervention strategies, and individualized education plans (IEPs).
  • Collaboration and Consultation: Work closely with teachers, administrators, and other educational professionals to develop and implement effective interventions and behavior management strategies. Provide counseling and support services to students individually or in group settings, addressing a wide range of social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consultation and Partnership: Consult with parents, guardians, and external stakeholders to foster effective partnerships and support students' overall well-being and academic success. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, including 504 meetings and Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings, and contribute expertise in addressing students' needs and goal-setting.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with research, best practices, and legal requirements related to school psychology and special education. Develop and maintain expertise in various assessment and intervention strategies, including behavioral intervention and positive behavior support systems.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure: Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology and valid license or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Assessment and Intervention Skills: Proficient in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting assessment results. Sound knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and procedures.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Strong understanding of various behavioral intervention strategies and positive behavior support systems. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.
  • Organizational and Time Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
