Job Title: Emergency Department Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as an Emergency Department Nurse Specialist. This is a full-time, 36-hour per week position in Belmont, Massachusetts.

About the Role:

This role requires a highly motivated and organized individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team, and contributing to the development of nursing practices.

Responsibilities:
  • To provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation)
  • To oversee other assigned team members and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care in accordance with BORN regulations and professional standards of care
  • To maintain accurate records and reports, and participate in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • A graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience in emergency department nursing, preferably with ACLS, PALS, and CPI certifications
  • Strong interpersonal communication, problem-solving, and conflict management skills
  • The ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to the development of nursing practices
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $85,000 - $115,000, depending on experience. In addition to competitive compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and employee assistance programs.
