About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Software Development Manager to join our team in Morgantown WV, Charlottesville VA, Bridgewater VA, or Arlington, VA. As a key member of our EBS-C software development team, you will be responsible for managing a team of junior, journeyman, and senior software developers in an agile SAFe environment.

Responsibilities
  • Manage a software team to write and maintain source code for Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment of the EBS-C system.
  • Ensure the team creates and maintains EBS-C software applications and applies frameworks involved in a software release on a classified and unclassified cloud network.
  • Work independently and in collaboration with the Solutions Architect to establish effective Scrum teams to work off requirements backlog and provide required deliverables.
  • Provide coaching and training to Junior, Journeyman, and Senior Software Developers.
  • Attend daily Scrum Team meetings to assess progress and plan out upcoming sprints.
  • Define Sprint requirements, ensure the team creates storyboards and required deliverables.
  • Communicate and collaborate with other software developers, Solutions Architect, Database Administrators, and Project Manager.
Requirements
  • Expertise in one or more programming languages.
  • Ability to communicate with senior executive leadership regarding matters of strategic importance to the organization/project.
  • Expert knowledge of and ability to apply advanced principles and concepts applicable to EBS-C.
  • CompTIA Security+ or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Master's degree and 15+ years of prior relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of EBS-C -> Army enterprise resource system, army enterprise resource planning systems (GFEBS-SA, GCSS-A, IPPS-A, Vantage, SAAS-MOD, LMP, etc).
  • Lead SAP/ERP migrations or other Software Application migrations to the Cloud.
  • Expertise in SAFe principles to build and maintain CI/CD.
