We are currently looking for compassionate and responsible individuals to take on the role of a full-time Practical Nursing Specialist (PNS). This position involves delivering essential clinical nursing services within our Long-Term Structured Residence (LTSR).

Position Details:
This is a full-time role requiring 32 hours per week, with a mix of daylight and evening shifts (7:00 am - 3:00 pm and 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm). The Practical Nursing Specialist will report directly to the LTSR Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assess medical concerns within the LTSR.
- Administer prescribed medications and maintain accurate documentation.
- Manage medication reorders not on auto-exchange.
- Document all new admissions and medical concerns.
- Complete monthly summaries and physical assessments for residents.
- Collaborate with physicians regarding resident information as necessary.
- Report and document significant changes in residents' conditions.
- Implement treatment plans and monitor progress towards goals.
- Track weights, vital signs, and medication administration.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the LTSR Director.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a current Pennsylvania nursing license.
- Valid driver's license is required.
- Understanding of mental health principles is essential.
- Preferred experience of 1-2 years in medical/surgical or geriatric nursing.
