Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a representative for Structured Finance within the structuring team, contributing to the development and design of ABS programs, which includes:

- Reviewing, interpreting, and validating offering and legal documentation.

- Leading the selection of asset pools, conducting analytics, and modeling cash flows.

- Coordinating due diligence efforts with external accounting professionals.

- Engaging with treasury, tax, legal, risk management, investment bankers, and external legal advisors.

• Create specialized accounting and servicing frameworks for ABS transactions in accordance with International accounting standards and relevant regulations, which involves:

- Selecting and removing assets based on predefined criteria.

- Monitoring pool performance to ensure compliance with investor triggers and regulations.

- Assisting in the formulation of process procedures and documentation to meet audit requirements and company policies.

- Reviewing monthly servicing reports, journal entries, and supporting documentation.

- Assisting in the review of monthly and annual SEC filings for public ABS transactions.

- Coordinating annual servicing audits conducted by external accountants.

• Establish and uphold control procedures for ABS transactions under SEC Regulations.

• Review wire requests and reconciliations related to daily collections for public ABS transactions.

• Maintain ABS systems and database records, ensuring:

- Quality assurance of both imported data and internal calculations.

- Implementation of internal controls for daily and monthly data management.

- Oversight and monitoring of all program/script modifications, updating all related documentation accordingly.

- Collaboration with IT to resolve data or server issues, and liaising with vendors for process-related concerns.

• Support Treasury operations associated with VW Credit.

• Review accounting support schedules for ABS and perform financial analysis on various general ledger accounts.

• Continuously enhance knowledge to stay abreast of existing and emerging issues in accounting and banking, aiding in compliance with accounting and regulatory standards.

• Undertake special projects, including problem resolution and the development of new processes and support systems.

Experience Required:

  • 7+ years of professional experience, ideally in Accounting, Finance, or Asset-Backed Securitization.
  • 4+ years of core Accounting experience.
Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
Desired Education:
  • Master's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business.
General Skills:
  • Professional experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with personal computer financial applications.
  • Experience in Treasury and/or banking.
  • Understanding of the automotive financing sector.
Specialized Skills Required:
  • Robust accounting background.
  • Familiarity with International Accounting Standards.
  • Capabilities in systems integration and maintenance.
  • Experience in securitization, preferably within the automotive industry.
Specialized Desired Skills:
  • Certified Public Accountant designation.
Work Flexibility:
  • Some flexibility in work schedule; may require occasional travel, extended hours, or working during holidays.
