Job Summary:This is a 26-week contract opportunity for a Critical Care Nurse to work in our Level II Trauma Center. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in ICU and be proficient in caring for patients with complex medical conditions.
Responsibilities:- Care for patients with critical medical conditions, including those with ICP monitoring, EVD, and ventilator management.
- Work collaboratively with the Trauma Surgery team, Hospitalist, and Intensivist to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care planning.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient unit operations.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Maine.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in ICU.
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
