Berry Global Group Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities- Perform all tasks in a safe and responsible manner, adhering to OSHA and Hazardous Material regulations.
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials, and perform regular inspections to ensure equipment is in good working condition.
- Load and unload trailers, and transfer materials between warehouses and shipping areas.
- Verify and inspect incoming materials, supplies, and finished goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Participate in cycle counts and inventory transactions, and maintain accurate records.
- Prepare and assemble shipping documents, and ensure all required documentation is complete and legible.
- Troubleshoot material problems, and report any variances or discrepancies to management.
- High School Diploma required; 2 years of experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
