Job Overview

Farmers Insurance-District 53 is seeking an experienced sales professional to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in relationship building and be adept at strategizing, planning, and following up with customers.


About the Role

This position offers a dynamic work environment where you will have the opportunity to build and strengthen customer relationships while enhancing their overall experience. As an insurance agent, you will be responsible for working in the agency office Monday to Friday, 8:30 to 5:30, and will be required to cross-sell to existing clients, prepare new policy quotes daily, present, sell, and close new policies, handle daily alerts, service emails, and calls to the agency, make daily outbound follow-up calls, and contact warm leads provided by the agency.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through prompt, accurate, and friendly service
  • Cross-sell auto, home, umbrella products to existing clients
  • Prepare new policy quotes daily and present, sell, and close new policies
  • Handle daily alerts, service emails, and calls to the agency
  • Make daily outbound follow-up calls to customers

Requirements
  • Active General or Personal Lines Property & Casualty TX License
  • Minimum 6 months insurance sales/service experience
  • Ability to access online study guide to obtain General Lines Life, Accident, Health & HMO license
  • Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
