Office Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee our office operations and administrative staff. As the backbone of our workplace, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently, creating a harmonious and productive environment for our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Operations: Oversee and manage daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Policy Development: Develop and implement office policies and procedures, and ensure they are adhered to.
  • Financial Management: Manage office budget, ensure cost-effectiveness, and prepare financial reports for senior management.
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise administrative staff, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to ensure a high level of service and support.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Coordinate with HR to recruit, train, and onboard new office staff, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Communication: Act as a point of contact for upper management daily to ensure tasks are on schedule.
  • Office Maintenance: Organize and maintain office spaces and equipment, including managing inventory of office supplies and placing orders as necessary.
  • Meetings and Events: Schedule meetings and appointments, and provide support for company events or conferences.
  • Correspondence: Handle correspondence, including emails, and ensure information is disseminated to appropriate staff.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and secure working environment, including ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Strategic Planning: Assist in the development of strategic plans for operational activity and implement and manage operational plans.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to other departments or team members as needed.

This is a full-time position with a salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.
