The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Full Stack Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in defining OLarry's growth by defining, planning, and implementing our customer-facing technology. This role reports directly to the COO.

Responsibilities
  1. Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of engineering projects by setting clear priorities and deadlines.
  2. Collaborate with other stakeholders across the company to define product requirements and weigh implementation options.
  3. Understand customer needs and feedback, translating them into actionable engineering tasks and improvements.
  4. Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise.
  5. Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  6. Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies and best practices in development.
  7. Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new engineers to build a high-performing team.
Requirements
  • Experience as a lead engineer managing the delivery of a consumer-facing product.
  • Experience with full-stack development, with a strong focus on React, and leveraging Figma for front-end development.
  • Expertise in back-end technologies like Node.js, Python, or similar, along with experience in building RESTful APIs.
  • Strong understanding of database systems (SQL, NoSQL) and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Previous experience with fintech or similarly regulated space.
