We are currently in search of a proactive and results-driven RETAIL SALES AND MERCHANDISING TEAM LEADER . Our longstanding commitment to our associates and customers has been the cornerstone of our success for over 40 years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the sales floor by ensuring that team members are engaging with customers and providing credible product solutions, while upholding customer satisfaction standards.
  • Oversee the implementation of promotional displays and visual merchandising guidelines within the department.
  • Manage all aspects of inventory flow and merchandise processing, including regular inventory audits and tracking of company assets.
  • Assist in staffing, training, and scheduling within the department to ensure that competent team members are available to meet customer needs; communicate any challenges to management.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and constructive feedback to team members to ensure adherence to sales presentation, customer satisfaction, and visual merchandising standards.
  • Participate in and lead the opening and closing procedures of the store.
  • Act as the floor leader or manager-in-charge in the absence of store management.
  • Support overall store operations by maintaining awareness of loss prevention and assisting in preparations for physical inventory counts.
  • Collaborate with senior management and/or the Regional HR Manager as necessary to address human resource matters in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Carry out additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A high school diploma is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • A minimum of two years of experience in a retail sales environment, with direct responsibility for achieving sales and customer service objectives, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple customer interactions and relate to individuals with varying levels of technical knowledge.
  • Proven ability to drive sales and implement corporate initiatives effectively.
  • Physical demands include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
  • Availability for shifts that may include hours before and after store operating hours, as well as weekends and holidays.
