Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Radiologist to join our team at the North Florida/South Georgia VA Healthcare System. As a Chief Physician, you will be responsible for leading a team of radiology professionals and providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise a team of radiology professionals, including physicians, technologists, nurses, and administrative staff.
  • Develop and direct the general radiology, CAT scan, ultrasound, MRI, interventional radiology, and nuclear medicine operations of the Imaging Service.
  • Provide radiological studies in inpatient and outpatient clinics, operating rooms, and ICU areas throughout the medical center.
  • Interpret radiology examinations, including MRI, CT, diagnostic ultrasound, nuclear medicine, general radiology, and fluoroscopy (x-ray) examinations.
Requirements
  • United States citizenship.
  • Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
  • Residency training in Diagnostic Radiology from an accredited program.
  • Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Board Certified Radiologist with experience as a Clinical Service Director or Clinical Service Chief.
