Mailbox Engraving Specialist

Job Title: Manufacturing Engraver

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year based on experience and location in Manhattan, Kansas.

Job Description: As a Manufacturing Engraver at Florence Corporation, you will be responsible for custom engraving letters and numbers onto mailbox doors using a computer and other electronic equipment. Your tasks will include operating various hand tools and operations, assembling components that meet specified quality standards, following safety procedures, and wearing proper PPE. You will also attend and participate in safety meetings and training sessions, actively promote safety, and develop productive working relationships with other work groups. Additionally, you will keep the work area clean and free from excess clutter to ensure a smooth operation and desirable work conditions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma recommended
• One-year previous experience in a sheet metal or machine shop environment preferred
• Good work record in previous employment
• Ability to follow verbal and written work instructions, read prints and routers, and understand quality requirements
• Possess basic math skills
• Ability to safely and effectively operate various pieces of equipment
