Medical Director for Cancer Care in the Upper Peninsula

The Physician Empire is seeking a Medical Director to lead our cancer care team in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. This role will be responsible for overseeing the coordination of multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive cancer care to community members throughout the region.
Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced physician with a passion for oncology and hematology to join our team as a Medical Director. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong clinical background, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
About the RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for:
- Overseeing the development and implementation of cancer care programs in the Upper Peninsula
- Leading a team of healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care services
- Collaborating with regional hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure seamless care transitions
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including patients, families, and community organizations
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in oncology or hematology (or both)
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role in oncology or hematology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
